Understanding Your Energy Field Through Sacred Geometry

What if your energy field is geometric?

Yoga: Beyond Physical Postures

In2infinity - 4d yoga - chakras

In most yoga traditions, the chakras are described as spinning wheels of energy, regulating different aspects of our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. These chakras are not isolated points but part of a larger bio-energetic system, interacting with the aura and the subtle energy body known as the pranamaya kosha.

In 4D Yoga, we deepen this understanding by recognizing each chakra as an expanding and contracting energy field, existing within a continuous toroidal energy flow. This flow is closely linked to Kundalini energy—the dormant spiritual force at the base of the spine. As this serpent-like energy awakens and rises, it travels through the central channel (Sushumna Nadi), activating and expanding each chakra’s field as it ascends.

When Kundalini energy flows freely, it clears blockages, elevates consciousness, and aligns our mind, body, and spirit with the higher dimensions of existence. But when obstructed, it can create imbalances that manifest as physical, emotional, or mental struggles. Understanding the chakras as energy fields in the context of Kundalini Rising allows us to work more consciously with yogic practices to enhance energetic flow and spiritual awakening.

Your Energy Field: The Torus & The Aura

In 4D Yoga, we understand the aura as a dynamic toroidal field, meaning it flows in a continuous loop around you. Energy moves up from the base of the spine, spiraling through each chakra, and then circulates outward before returning again—like a donut-shaped energy vortex.

This is not just an abstract concept; science shows that the human biofield emits electromagnetic energy, and our heart alone generates a toroidal field that extends several feet around us!

Now, let’s connect this idea to the chakras. Each chakra is not just a spinning wheel of energy, but a mini-toroidal field that expands outward, interacting with the energy around it. Understanding these geometric structures helps us work with them more effectively, creating balance and flow in our lives.

The Chakras as Energy Fields in 4D Yoga

Root Chakra (Muladhara)

The Root Chakra, located at the base of the spine, is the foundation of the entire chakra system. It is here that Kundalini energy lies dormant, coiled like a serpent, waiting to be activated.

Its energy field is compact and dense, providing stability and grounding. In 2D representation, it appears as a four-petaled lotus, reflecting the four basic instincts: survival, food, sleep, and reproduction. A strong Root Chakra is essential for safely awakening Kundalini energy, ensuring that as it rises, it does not create instability or energetic imbalances.

Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)

The Sacral Chakra, just below the navel, governs creativity, sexuality, and emotional flow. It is deeply connected to the raw creative force of Kundalini energy, as sexual energy is one of the most powerful transformative forces in the body.

Its six-petaled lotus represents the fluidity of emotions and movement of energy. When Kundalini reaches this level, it begins to stir creativity and deep emotional release, allowing for a greater sense of passion and connection to life.

Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)

The Solar Plexus Chakra, located in the upper abdomen, is the seat of inner power and transformation. It is associated with the fire element, which is crucial for raising Kundalini energy.

Its ten-petaled lotus symbolizes the ten pranic forces that fuel digestion and energy production. When Kundalini reaches this chakra, it ignites a deep sense of power, confidence, and willpower.

Heart Chakra (Anahata)

The Heart Chakra, at the center of the chest, is the bridge between the lower and higher chakras, governing love, connection, and emotional expansion.

In 2D, it is symbolized by a twelve-petaled lotus, representing balance and harmony. As Kundalini reaches this chakra, it expands the energy field, allowing for deep compassion, forgiveness, and unconditional love.

Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)

The Throat Chakra, located at the base of the throat, is the center of communication, truth, and self-expression.

It is represented by a sixteen-petaled lotus, symbolizing the purification of speech and thought. As Kundalini energy rises to this level, it purifies self-expression, allowing one to speak with clarity and authenticity.

Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)

The Third Eye Chakra, between the eyebrows, is the gateway to higher perception and expanded consciousness.

Its two-petaled lotus represents the duality of the conscious and subconscious mind. When Kundalini reaches this chakra, it activates deep insight, heightened intuition, and spiritual vision.

Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)

The Crown Chakra, at the top of the head, is the gateway to divine consciousness and spiritual enlightenment.

It is represented by a thousand-petaled lotus, symbolizing infinite expansion. When Kundalini fully rises to the Crown Chakra, the individual experiences oneness, bliss, and liberation.

The Continuous Flow of Energy

Once Kundalini energy reaches the Crown Chakra, it does not simply disappear—it flows back down through the front of the body, completing the cycle of energy movement. This movement follows the shape of a torus, with the Heart Chakra at its center.

The heart’s electromagnetic field, which is the largest energy field in the human body, generates a double toroidal pattern—one torus flowing upward and another downward, creating a self-sustaining energetic system.

It is this continuous toroidal motion is the basis of 4D Yoga, where we align ourselves with universal energy flow, integrating our mind, body, and energy fields into a higher state of balance and awareness.
